I've owned Frogskins since the 90s, but this is only the third pair. Yes they are plastic but will last you a lifetime if you take care of them, and I wanted another pair because the first I ever owned got stolen. I bought another 10 years ago and I thought it's about time to get them in a new color scheme. I was not disappointed. These were super cheap and the sun has not bothered me one bit, even if they are non polarized. I am already looking for new colors. I feel like I am heading back to 1992 when I put them on.
