I have a medium to large size head/hat size and the Sutro S are perfrct. They still provide and I would say even better wrap around wind and sun protection/coverage as the regular Sutro. The Small size frame seems to be curved around slightly which also gives the better fit. The regular Sutro seem to be a more flatter frame. For style and functionality...get the Sutro S !
