I'm using these as all purpose sunglasses, and they are great for that. With the reasonable price, I'm not afraid to toss them around like I am with my more expensive sunglasses. The noise piece is comfortable and they are fairly hat friendly. I've worn them for running, working in the yard, and driving and they've been just fine for all of those.
