Once I got used to wearing sunglasses alot, I fell in love with these. The sides thick enough that the glasses block out sun from almost every direction and the lenses provide a sufficient darkening. I actually lost my first pair somehow and was distraught without them so this was my second time purchasing these. Needless to say, these are the best pair of sunglasses I've tried.
