High quality lenses. I feel confident these will protect your eyes. I bought these for a vacation in Florida and they held up nicely. The metallic green pair provided less shade for the eyes than the black pair, but look cool. My glasses came with a little picture of a leaping fish which you can only see with the polarized lenses which my kids thought was very entertaining. Nice product!
