I use the glasses only when I go biking on the trails. So as far as sun protection, I'm not 100% because we go in the evening and the trail is covered with trees for the most part, but they are definitely dark. I do love them because the bugs do not get in my eyes!! (Posted on 8/21/2020)Quality Price Value
