Yes, they're expensive, but Oakley is known for the quality of their lenses and frames. I've got a big head so the cheaper sunglasses often don't fit. This is the second pair of these Radar sunglasses I've had (lost the first pair in a lake lol) and won't hesitate to buy them again - even with the price being what it is. This is my first pair of polarized sunglasses and what a difference they make. I got them before leaving on a vacation and it made the beach so much more enjoyable without any glare from the sun or water. It does distort the coloring slightly but well worth it to avoid squinting. I've been wearing them frequently for about 2 weeks now and they feel like a sold pair of glasses that should last atleast the season. One thing that surprised me was how flat they are. Not sure if that was because of getting squished in shipping or if they are made that way but the fit was still comfortable. This is my second pair of Oakleys. The first pair which I still have lasted 9 years! I took good care of them and so they lasted quite awhile. The lenses are polarized and they make for a very good eye protection. I believe in the phrase "buy once, cry once" and while these probably aren't the most durable glasses on the market, nor the most expensive, they are completely adequate for everyday use and provide excellent glare reduction. If I had to think of any cons regarding these glasses I would say that it's quite a chunk of money for only plastic materials. (Posted on 7/15/2020)Quality Price Value
